This superb mug is large in size and unique in it's Ocean Moon glaze color. Our nice shaped handle will fit any hand in comfort. We've added a thumbrest for additional comfort and support. The turned lip is very comfortable to drink from. (Click on pic above for larger view). The Ocean Moon glaze is blue, white with some green mixed in. A unique, matching lid option is available for $8 to keep your beverage warm longer and great for tea steeping.

Each mug is approximately 21-26 ounces (extra large mug), approximately 6-7 inches in height and weighing around two pounds. These are high-fired, stoneware pieces (2300 + degrees, Cone 10) for maximum durability. Each piece is lead free, dishwasher and microwave safe. As with all hand crafted pottery the coloring and size will vary slightly from piece to piece, making each piece a one-of-a-kind. These never look exactly like the picture. Our potter is a west coaster, making pottery for over 20 years. "As well as designing and handcrafting each piece I also formulate the glazes. In respect to the glazes I love that which is reminiscent of rock; the surface and the colors, while still being functional, and that which feels good to the touch while in use."
