Decorated with brushed on handmade slips, bisqued, then clear glaze applied and fired to again to cone 6. The also makes each mug very durable. The standard small mug is 8 ounces and measures about 3 1/2 inches height by 3 1/2 inches in width (The medium size is approximately 4 inches wide by 4 1/2 inches tall, 12 ounces; and the largest is the 20 ounce). The largest mug is considered a medium size piece in regards to shipping.
