    Description
    Wow....a beautiful Merry Go Round of colors from front to back, blue, redish, rust and brown. Every mug is unique.(Click on pic above for larger view and for front and back views). Each mug is approximately 6 to 7 ounces (small), approximately 4 inches in height and 2 1/2 inches in diameter (4 inches in diameter including handle). These are high-fired (9-10 Cone Reduction) for maximum durability, with a hand pulled handle. As with all hand crafted pottery the coloring and size will vary from piece to piece, making each piece a one-of-a-kind.     Artist Statement: "From the flaze fields in central US, we have developed a beautiful and functional galze. We receive the gift of the flax straw after harvest from our local farmers. The straw is set on fire to obtain the ash for our new glaze. This glaze adds the beautiful amber to yellow in color."
